S.C. Anderson In collaboration with Orian Rugs, Simply Southern Cottage is launching a third rug series that will be sold online. The carpets will also be featured on September 21 as part of The Colorful Cottages of Minden, an autumn home tour.
The Southern Grace collection, which features gold, rust, blue, and green hues for an elevated look ideal for more formal settings, is part of this new line. The new flatweave, machine-washable Southern Life line is suitable for daily use, according to designer Sara McDaniel.
My goal with Orian was to create a new line that would be timeless. The fifteen patterns in the collection offer a variety of options while evoking the southern charm that McDaniel likes to incorporate into all of his creations.
The Magnolia Network program In With The Old, which followed McDaniel’s restoration of a stunning 1905 Queen Anne Victorian-style mansion, exhibited his prior carpets nationwide.
An impending HGTV program that will shortly be revealed will include some of the newest carpets from the Southern Home collection.
“My career in design and renovation has been greatly influenced by Chip and Joanna Gaines, and I am excited to see my rugs featured nationally on their network,” McDaniel stated.
