Pennsylvania’s West Chester A retail executive with over 20 years of expertise has been engaged by Qurate Retail Group to oversee merchandising at HSN.
Rosalia Bucaro, the new chief merchandising officer of HSN, will be in charge of business development, planning, programming, and merchandising strategy for all product categories.
She will concentrate on renewing the product range at the multiplatform retailer of video commerce with her team. This entails establishing celebrity alliances and developing a line of items that appeals to both current and potential consumers via all media.
Bucaro most recently held the position of EVP at the off-price e-commerce portfolio firm, Rue Gilt Groupe. There, she was in charge of the European luxury division as well as the women’s, men’s, and children’s divisions.
In addition, she was the main point of contact for platform changes, site personalization, and price strategy tools in the merchandising and technology departments. Prior to joining Rue Gilt Groupe, Bucaro worked at Bloomingdale’s in a variety of senior merchandising roles.
