Roselle Thomas has been appointed senior vice president and chief merchandising officer of Bealls Florida by Bealls Inc., the company that owns and runs Bealls, Bealls Florida, and Home Centric.

Thomas has taken on a new role where she is in charge of the merchandising strategy for 66 Bealls Florida locations as well as BeallsFlorida.com. She is creating and leading projects to further enhance the retailer’s position as a destination for both visiting guests and families from Florida. Her efforts will be concentrated on providing distinctive goods and well-known brands at excellent everyday values.

Roselle is a fantastic leader for our iconic brand, Bealls Inc. president Tianne Doyle remarked. “She is an excellent candidate to lead Bealls Florida into the future because she has broad exposure to multiple facets of the company and deep knowledge of the Florida guest and business market.”

Although the main furniture and home furnishings brand of Bealls Inc. is Home Centric, both Bealls and Bealls Florida sell a variety of home furnishings and home décor categories.

Starting as a merchandise assistant, Thomas worked his way up to hold several important leadership positions at Bealls Inc. in 2010 and beyond. These included divisional oversight of apparel categories, product development and strategy, wholesale businesses, environmental social governance, and corporate services. She most recently worked for Bealls Florida as vice president and general merchandise manager for women’s clothing, accessories, and cosmetics.

Thomas is a member of the 2018 E.R. Beall Leadership Development Program class and a graduate of The International Academy of Design and Technology.
