Griffin, Georgia: For the commercial and hospitality industries, 1888 Mills is introducing what it touts as a new antibacterial textile treatment.

The manufacturer of home textiles with a variety of products has teamed up with Fuze Technologies, whose treatment has been shown to last more than 100 washes—even in the most demanding commercial cleaning procedures.

Fuze F1, a water-based, chemical-free solution, sticks to things indefinitely without the need of surfactants or binders. Because it dries faster, this durability promises to improve the guest experience while saving properties a lot of money.

Chief merchandising officer of 1888 Mills Lexi Schladenhauffen stated, “Our partnership with Fuze Technologies allows us to offer our clients a revolutionary product that not only enhances the cleanliness and safety of their textiles but also contributes to sustainability and cost-efficiency.”

Among the many advantages of Fuze F1 are its lack of chemicals, toxicity, and environmental safety as well as its zero carbon footprint. Because of its non-leaching and non-ionic characteristics, no toxic residues are generated, making it safe for both the environment and users.

In 1888’s factories in Pakistan, Fuze Biotech and 1888 Mills have been collaborating to test and improve the application for the hospitality sector. By redefining industry standards, our cooperation seeks to make commercial and hospitality textiles safer, more environmentally friendly, and more economically viable.

Fuze Biotech’s CEO and CTO, Andrew Peterson, stressed how revolutionary this technology is.

“Fuze uses a product that is exclusive and has never been seen before. Our priorities include winning the “race to zero” and abstaining from chemicals. We think that less is always better when it comes to chemicals,” he stated. “We strive for effectiveness in our research and development while utilizing minimal resources.”

Fuze applications have the potential to minimize chemical usage in water systems by as much as 50,000 pounds per million yards of textiles when used in place of present technologies.

“Yes, we do work,” he continued. “We are the only product that, thanks to innovative technology, will not produce bacterial “superbugs” and is a broad-spectrum antibacterial biostatic agent.”
