By the end of 2025, Wayfair plans to close its facility in Florence, Kentucky, which will result in the layoff of 218 employees.

Wayfair announced in a WARN notice submitted to the Kentucky State Rapid Response Dislocated Worker Unit on October 9 that permanent layoffs for workers at the 5101 Renegade Way facility will start on December 31 and be phased in over the course of 2025.

The workers have no bumping rights and are not members of a union.

A report from the northern Kentucky news outlet LINK nky claims that the 20,000-square-foot Wayfair building has been used as a warehouse and retail store since it opened five years ago.
