A well-known brand in the home textiles sector, Theni Gurukrishna Textile Mills Private Limited, is still upholding its reputation for excellence and craftsmanship. As a member of the prestigious ATK Group, the business will exhibit its cutting-edge product line at the forthcoming Heimtextil 2025 trade show in Frankfurt, Germany, which is a leading international venue for contract and home textiles.
Lakshmiraj, Director of Theni Gurukrishna Textile Mills, and Rajasekar JMD were gracious enough to speak with us on our tour of their cutting-edge processing facility in Perundurai, close to Coimbatore. They discussed the company’s exciting intentions for Heimtextil 2025 as well as its rich history.
A Legacy of innovation & experience
We belong to the ATK Group, which has its headquarters in Theni, Tamil Nadu, and has been a household name in cotton trade since the 1970s. Many of Tamil Nadu’s top mills have relied on ATK as a supplier, Rajasekar stated. “The third and fourth generations of our family currently run Theni Gurukrishna Textile Mills, which was founded in 1993, with a combination of traditional knowledge and contemporary vision.”
In Tamil Nadu, the ATK Group runs 25 industrial facilities in Theni, Rajapalayam, Perundurai, Palladam, and Coimbatore. “We are a new-generation home textile company because of our combination of experience and innovative ideas,” Lakshmiraj continued. Despite having a strong foundation in traditional cotton knowledge, we offer creative solutions to satisfy the needs of contemporary customers.
Over the past five years, the company has greatly increased the range of home textiles it offers, now meeting a variety of consumer demands, after initially concentrating on the healthcare and hospitality sectors.
