A Legacy of innovation & experience

We belong to the ATK Group, which has its headquarters in Theni, Tamil Nadu, and has been a household name in cotton trade since the 1970s. Many of Tamil Nadu’s top mills have relied on ATK as a supplier, Rajasekar stated. “The third and fourth generations of our family currently run Theni Gurukrishna Textile Mills, which was founded in 1993, with a combination of traditional knowledge and contemporary vision.”

In Tamil Nadu, the ATK Group runs 25 industrial facilities in Theni, Rajapalayam, Perundurai, Palladam, and Coimbatore. “We are a new-generation home textile company because of our combination of experience and innovative ideas,” Lakshmiraj continued. Despite having a strong foundation in traditional cotton knowledge, we offer creative solutions to satisfy the needs of contemporary customers.

Over the past five years, the company has greatly increased the range of home textiles it offers, now meeting a variety of consumer demands, after initially concentrating on the healthcare and hospitality sectors.

Theni Gurukrishna Textile Mills intends to showcase a wide variety of home textile items at Heimtextil 2025, such as comforters, terry towels, blankets, throws, sheets, quilts, and bath accessories. This edition’s theme is “Minimalistic is the Major, (Simple yet Powerful),” with a focus on opulent yet reasonably priced goods. “We want to showcase not just everyday items but also specialty items that provide outstanding comfort, durability, and value.”

“Design and innovation are at the heart of what we do,” Rajasekar explained. In addition to supplying conventional goods, we’re also launching distinctive and distinctive things. We have a competitive advantage thanks to our integrated manufacturing capabilities, which include in-house compact spinning and sophisticated processing methods like continuous dyeing and high thread count production (ranging from 120 to 1200).

The company’s internal design studio and collaborations with American designers further strengthen its emphasis on quality, guaranteeing that its goods represent consumer tastes and worldwide trends.

The operations of Theni Gurukrishna Textile Mills are firmly rooted in sustainability. “We derive 80% of our power from renewable sources like solar and wind energy,” they said, highlighting their achievements. GOTS-certified cotton is produced at our on-site ginning facilities, guaranteeing environmentally responsible production. We also have strong rainwater collection systems, which include tanks that can hold more than 3 crore liters. We can recycle 1.5 million liters of wastewater per day for use in our processing units thanks to our state-of-the-art Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) facilities.

Lakshmiraj went on to say, “We employ biodegradable materials in our packaging to further demonstrate sustainability. We make improving our environmental impact a core component of our company strategy and are always looking for new and creative ways to do so.

Growing Global Presence

The USA, Canada, and Europe are just a few of the important foreign markets that Theni Gurukrishna Textile Mills has successfully entered. “We are actively reaching out to markets in Australia, Japan, and the Middle East,” they said, expressing hope about future growth. Heimtextil 2025 offers a great opportunity to network with possible customers and forge a more robust worldwide presence.

Market Trends and Consumer Insights

The market for home textiles is changing quickly as consumers place more value on whole experience than on more conventional criteria like thread count. “Factors such as hand feel, finish, aesthetics, functionality, and durability are important to buyers today.” “The trend toward affordable goods and fast fashion is a reflection of shifting tastes and lifestyles. Our objective is to meet these demands by fusing creativity and pragmatism.
