HFA Appoints New Officers and Board Members for 2025

The Home Furnishings Association (HFA) has announced its 2025 slate of officers and six new board members, marking an exciting new chapter for the organization. The incoming leaders bring fresh perspectives and expertise to the table, reinforcing HFA’s commitment to advancing the home furnishings industry and supporting its members.

The 2025 slate of officers includes:

  • Past President: Matt Schultz, John V. Schultz/Levin Furniture
  • President: Dave Koehler, Johnny Janosik
  • President-Elect: Nora Gomez, NFM
  • Secretary: Randilynn Talsma, Blended Furniture Market
  • Treasurer: Jared Simon, Simon’s Furniture

In addition to the officers, HFA is excited to welcome six new board members who will begin their term in 2025. These industry leaders bring a wealth of experience and innovative thinking, representing diverse facets of the home furnishings industry. They will play a pivotal role in supporting HFA’s mission to empower retailers and drive growth within the industry.

The new board members include:

  • Paris Gholston, Customer Relations Coordinator, Mattress Recycling Council
  • Bailee Nebeker, Owner, American Homestead Furniture
  • Eric Poupard, Vice President of Sales, Hudson’s Furniture
  • Rebecca Reeder, President, Retail, La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries
  • Peter Theran, President, Boston Interiors
  • Matthew Waugh, Executive Director of Finance and Operations, Furnitureland South
