The Hindustan Chamber of Commerce (HCC) has welcomed the Union Budget 2025-26, highlighting its focus on agriculture, MSMEs, and startups. HCC President Mr. Sushil Gajria appreciated the government’s efforts in tax relief, increased TDS exemption limits, and incentives for manufacturing and employment growth.

The Chamber also praised the budget’s initiatives for the tourism and healthcare sectors, including lower medical equipment and cancer drug costs, free visas for tourists, and new airport developments. However, it expressed disappointment over the textile industry not receiving the expected relief, citing concerns about competition from Bangladesh’s policies.
