As the most widely used natural fibre in the textile industry, cotton remains a key component in global manufacturing. The demand for organic and sustainable cotton continues to rise, driven by leading fashion brands integrating eco-friendly practices into their supply chains. Yarn Expo Spring 2025, set to take place from 11 – 13 March at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai, will showcase innovations in cotton yarn, with nearly 90 exhibitors dedicated to this category among over 500 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions.

Sustainable Cotton Yarn Gains Momentum

As the industry shifts towards sustainability, recycled and organic cotton are gaining traction, aligning with the global push for circular fashion. The organic cotton market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 44.4% until 2030[1], reflecting increasing consumer preference for eco-conscious textiles.

India, the world’s second-largest cotton yarn producer, plays a crucial role in this transformation, holding a 31.2% share of the international market[2]. Exhibitors from China, India, Pakistan, and other key markets will leverage Yarn Expo Spring 2025 to meet growing global demand, offering a diverse range of high-quality cotton yarn products.
