Pratteln, Switzerland – May 19, 2025: Archroma, a global leader in sustainable specialty chemicals, is transforming the denim industry by introducing eco-conscious dyeing and processing innovations. These advancements will be showcased at two major global denim events: Denim Première Vision in Milan (May 21–22) and Denimsandjeans Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City (June 25–26).

Highlighting the event is DENIM HALO, a cutting-edge pretreatment and dyeing process that enables the production of high-quality, distressed denim finishes while reducing water, energy, and chemical usage. This process incorporates DIRSOL® RD p and is compatible with indigo, sulfur, and biosynthetic dyes. DENIM HALO also improves fabric strength and eliminates the need for harmful substances like potassium permanganate and caustic soda.

Visitors will also discover Archroma’s new capsule collection of black denim made with DIRESUL® EVOLUTION BLACK and DENIM HALO, in collaboration with Kipas Denim and Jeanologia. Key innovations include:

  • DIRESUL® EVOLUTION BLACK – a cleaner sulfur black dye with 57% reduced environmental impact.

  • DENISOL® PURE INDIGO 30 – an aniline-free indigo offering authentic results with less pollution risk.

  • EarthColors – sustainable dyes derived from agricultural and food waste to support a circular economy.

Archroma continues to reimagine denim with sustainability at its core, ensuring the future of fashion remains iconic and responsible.
