Trident Group Champions Sustainability During Environment Week 2025

Budhni, Madhya Pradesh, June 19, 2025 – Trident Group, a leading Indian conglomerate and global textile manufacturer, celebrated Environment Week 2025 with impactful, community-led initiatives aligned with the global theme “Ending Plastic Pollution.” The week reflected Trident’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, environmental restoration, and corporate social responsibility.

The focal point of the week’s activities was the ‘Nirmal Narmada Abhiyaan’, a large-scale clean-up drive conducted at Berkheri Ghat, Budhni. Over 300 Trident employees and volunteers participated, collectively removing more than 15 tons of plastic waste from the sacred Narmada River, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to ecological well-being.

The Group also launched a massive tree plantation campaign, aiming to plant 20,000 trees as part of its long-term sustainability roadmap. Led by Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus, and Mr. Abhishek Gupta, Chief – Strategic Marketing, the initiative emphasizes Trident’s focus on increasing green cover and promoting biodiversity.

To further grassroots awareness, cotton fabric bags were distributed among local households to reduce dependence on single-use plastics—an actionable step encouraging daily sustainable living.

In a bid to empower future generations, Trident also hosted educational activities for school children centered on environmental awareness and plastic pollution. These sessions were crafted to inspire young minds to be active contributors in the fight for a greener planet.

Trident’s Environment Week efforts are part of a broader sustainability journey, which includes the use of wheat-straw-based paper, a zero-waste approach, a shift to renewable energy, and a focus on circular textile production. These values are woven into every layer of the organization’s operations, reinforcing its status as a leader in responsible manufacturing.

With the successful completion of Environment Week 2025, Trident Group continues to exemplify how collective action and purpose-driven leadership can foster meaningful change—toward a healthier, cleaner planet for all.
