The Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) is set to return for its 2026 edition at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City, from 26–28 February 2026. With a 20% increase in show floor space—from 15,000 sqm to 18,000 sqm—the event will span both Halls A and B. This expansion includes newly introduced dedicated zones focusing on apparel, fashion accessories, and textile chemicals and dyes, reinforcing Vietnam’s growing stature as an integrated textile industry hub.

Despite global business challenges, Vietnam’s textile industry remains a strategic priority for international stakeholders, supported by the country’s active participation in 17 new-generation FTAs. VIATT is emerging as a critical gateway for industry collaboration and export diversification.

According to Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, VIATT’s 2025 edition saw a 30% increase in international buyers and a 10% overall rise, reinforcing its role in advancing Vietnam’s move towards value-driven, sustainable manufacturing. VIATT 2026 will offer a trend-led showcase including trend forums, eco-friendly showcases, and fashion shows. The Econogy Hub returns to highlight circular solutions like organic fibres, recycled synthetics, and sustainable dyeing.

The Innovation & Digital Solution Zone will spotlight technologies such as AI-powered prototyping and automation, enabling Vietnam’s supply chain transformation.

Segment Highlights:

  • Apparel & Fashion: Vietnam’s textile exports reached USD 44 billion in 2024, with a goal of USD 48 billion in 2025. VIATT 2026 will now include finished apparel products and a Fashion Label Zone, aimed at boutique designers. A Fashion Accessories Zone will debut as well, attracting major brands like Zara and Lululemon.

  • Home & Contract Textiles: With market size expected to grow from USD 3 billion in 2025 to USD 4 billion by 2030, VIATT will expand its home textile offerings. Buyers like IKEA and Muji attended VIATT 2025. Eco-certified suppliers, verified through the Econogy Check, will be promoted via the Econogy Finder.

  • Technical Textiles & Technologies: The sector is projected to grow to USD 390 billion by 2032. VIATT 2026 will add a Textile Chemicals & Dyes Zone covering advanced additives and pigments to support innovation and sustainability in technical applications.

The event is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and VIETRADE. More details can be found at www.viatt.com.vn.
