Eurofins Assurance Achieves IOAS Accreditation for GOTS & Textile Exchange Certifications

On 19 June 2025, Eurofins Assurance announced that its India office has officially received Certification Body accreditation from the International Organic Accreditation Service (IOAS) for two key sustainability programmes: the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Textile Exchange. These certifications promote the traceability of organic and recycled textile materials, encourage sustainable practices, and enhance industry transparency.

Following a comprehensive evaluation, IOAS has recognised several Eurofins offices for their ability to deliver credible certification services. The India office, in particular, has now gained Certification Body status, enabling Eurofins Assurance to offer the following globally recognised sustainability standards across Asia and Europe:

  • Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)

  • Textile Exchange

  • Global Recycled Standard (GRS)

  • Organic Content Standard (OCS)

  • Recycled Claim Standard (RCS)

  • Content Claim Standard (CCS)

To further enhance accessibility and efficiency, Eurofins Assurance will soon launch Impact Trace, a proprietary digital platform that allows clients to manage bookings, upload documents, monitor certification progress, and access audit reports and Transaction Certificates—all in one place.

This accreditation marks a significant milestone in Eurofins Assurance’s mission to support sustainable transformation across supply chains in multiple industries, from fashion to food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
