Mumbai / National, September 3, 2025: The Department of Tourism, Government of Meghalaya, has officially revealed the Autumn Calendar 2025, presenting an exciting line-up of festivals that firmly establish Meghalaya as one of India’s most dynamic cultural hotspots. With world-class performances, international sports competitions, literary dialogues, and sustainability-driven showcases, the calendar reflects Meghalaya’s growing stature as a global cultural, music, and tourism hub.

Speaking at the launch, Shri Paul Lyngdoh, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Government of Meghalaya, remarked, “These festivals should not be considered expenses but investments that attract tourists, empower local talent, boost the economy, and generate resources for other vital sectors.” The scale and range of these festivals highlight Meghalaya’s strong positioning as a cultural powerhouse while ensuring benefits directly reach youth and communities.
