Design – Shanghai 2026

Design Shanghai 2026 is recognized as one of Asia’s leading international design events and will return to the Shanghai Exhibition Centre from 19–22 March 2026. With an enhanced program and improved visitor experience, the exhibition continues to set new benchmarks for the design industry across Asia. The Shanghai Exhibition Centre, known for its central location and distinctive architectural character, has been closely associated with the event since its debut in 2014, when Design Shanghai first introduced a global dialogue between Chinese and international design communities. After six years, the event returns to this iconic venue with a renewed focus on quality, creativity, and immersive design experiences.

The 2026 edition will feature four key sectors: Furniture & Lighting, Kitchen, Bathroom & Systems Design, New Materials & Applications, and Living & Lifestyle. The exhibition will showcase exceptional work from more than 500 design brands representing over 20 countries and regions, creating a cross-disciplinary platform that connects design innovation, craftsmanship, and human-centred concepts.

Special curated sections such as TALENTS, Made in JDZ, Beyond Craft, Collectible Design & Art, and Materials First will highlight emerging designers and experimental design approaches. In addition, two major industry forums—the KOHLER · Design Shanghai Global Design Conference and the CMF Conference—will provide valuable insights, discussions, and inspiration for professionals and design enthusiasts worldwide.
