The judging process for the National Awards for Excellence in Printing (NAEP) 2026 and the Global Print Excellence Awards (GPEA) 2026 has been successfully concluded at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre. The evaluation brought together leading professionals from the printing and packaging sector to assess a wide range of print submissions from India and international participants.

The awards are organised by the All India Federation of Master Printers in collaboration with Reenvision Events Pvt Ltd. Over the years, NAEP and GPEA have established themselves as important platforms that recognise excellence, innovation, and technological advancement within the printing industry.

This year’s edition received a strong response, with entries submitted across multiple categories. The submitted works highlighted the creative approaches, technical capabilities, and evolving expertise of printers from across India as well as global markets.

Structured Evaluation Process

The judging followed a structured, multi-stage assessment system designed to ensure transparency and fairness. In the initial stage, the jury examined the physical print samples and shortlisted the most notable entries.

During the next phase, the shortlisted works were evaluated individually using a comprehensive scoring framework. Each entry was assessed based on several parameters, including creativity, complexity of execution, visual presentation, tactile quality, innovation, and overall print performance.

According to the organisers, the quality of entries reached a notably high standard this year, leading to strong competition across different award categories. Many submissions demonstrated advancements in design concepts, printing technologies, finishing techniques, and sustainable printing solutions.

Awards Ceremony at Bharat Print Expo 2026

The winners of NAEP & GPEA Awards 2026 will be announced during a gala ceremony scheduled for April 28, 2026, at the Chennai Trade Centre.

The ceremony will take place alongside Bharat Print Expo 2026, which is scheduled from April 27 to April 29, 2026 at the same venue. The exhibition is regarded as one of South India’s major printing industry events and is expected to attract printers, converters, technology providers, designers, and brand representatives from across India and international markets.

The NAEP and GPEA awards aim to encourage professionals in the printing ecosystem to continue exploring new levels of creativity, quality, and technological innovation. The initiative also highlights the continuing relevance of print as a medium for communication, design, and craftsmanship.
