Trident Expands Solar Capacity at Budhni Plant

Trident Group has commissioned an additional 5.40 MWp rooftop solar power project at its advanced manufacturing facility in Budhni, reinforcing its commitment to renewable energy and sustainability.

With this latest addition, the total installed solar capacity at the Budhni plant has increased to 57.32 MWp, further strengthening the company’s position as a leader in environmentally responsible industrial practices.

This development reflects Trident Group’s ongoing focus on energy efficiency, operational excellence, and sustainable growth, aligning with its long-term ESG goals. Over the past decade, the company has consistently invested in clean and affordable energy solutions to reduce its carbon footprint across operations.

The Budhni facility previously operated with 51.92 MWp of solar capacity at full utilization. The newly commissioned project, completed on March 27, 2026, enhances the plant’s renewable energy infrastructure and overall efficiency.

Developed with an estimated investment of approximately INR 10 crore, the project highlights Trident’s proactive approach to integrating green energy into its manufacturing ecosystem while contributing to a more sustainable future.
