Within just nine months of its introduction across domestic and international markets, the brand has gained significant traction, driven by increasing global demand for transparency and responsible sourcing practices.
Raysileco recently showcased its progress at the 19th edition of Fibers & Yarns Expo 2026 in Mumbai, where it highlighted its expanding market footprint through strategic collaborations and growing industry acceptance.
According to Ajit Rajagopalan, Raysileco represents a focused effort to enhance traceability across the textile value chain. He emphasized that increasing partnerships with leading global brands across Europe and the United States reflect the company’s commitment to delivering responsible and transparent yarn solutions. These collaborations are also opening access to premium markets and strengthening its position within preferred supplier networks.
With evolving global regulations, Raysileco is supported by key certifications such as Canopy Green Shirt, EU BREF, ZDHC, Higg Index, and LCA, ensuring compliance with international standards while promoting sustainability and operational excellence. The initiative has successfully integrated with garment exporters, fabric manufacturers, and processors, creating a demand-driven ecosystem aligned with global sourcing requirements.
Shailendra Pandey highlighted that Raysileco combines both physical (molecular tracer) and digital traceability systems, offering a clear competitive advantage over conventional viscose filament yarn solutions and positioning the business for future-ready growth.
Notably, Raysil continues to stand out as the only global player offering three distinct VFY technologies—Pot Spun Yarn (PSY), Continuous Spun Yarn (CSY), and Spool Spun Yarn (SSY). With Raysileco, Grasim’s Cellulosic Fashion Yarn business is setting new benchmarks in transparency, innovation, and responsible manufacturing within the global textile industry.
