Flooring Collection Earns Recognition Among More Than 1,100 Global Entries

Nourison Hospitality’s Glassfall collection has been named a finalist in the flooring category at the 22nd annual Hospitality Design Awards.

The collection was selected from more than 1,100 product and project submissions from around the world. Finalists in the flooring category represented a broad range of hard- and soft-surface products, including tile, timber and carpet.

“Being named a finalist alongside tile and timber, in such a competitive year, is a meaningful recognition for our designers and our manufacturing teams,” said Feryal Rehman, vice president of marketing, Nourison Hospitality.

Inspired by the Visual Effect of Reeded Glass

Introduced at BDNY 2025, the Glassfall collection reinterprets stripe patterns through the visual characteristics of reeded glass. The designs combine texture and color to create layered patterns intended to balance contemporary and classic aesthetics.

The collection is centered around viridian, a heritage green tone, complemented by shades of oxblood, amethyst and accents of coral red.

According to the company, the palette was developed to create transitional designs that add depth and visual interest to hospitality interiors.

Multiple Constructions Showcase Design Versatility

Created by Nourison Hospitality’s senior design team, the collection includes several construction techniques tailored to highlight different design elements.

The hand-carved Axminster broadloom carpets are woven using 80% premium wool and 20% nylon on electronic jacquard looms, enabling large-scale, non-repeating patterns.

The hand-tufted rugs incorporate color blending, hand carving and varying pile heights to achieve additional texture and dimension.

The collection also includes rugs that combine hand-woven and hand-knotted techniques, resulting in fully handcrafted pieces designed for decorative display.

Design Team Highlights Concept Behind Collection

“Glassfall began with a simple observation: the way reeded glass quietly distorts and reorders what passes through it,” said Dipesh Haria, creative director, Nourison Hospitality.

“Our team translated that idea into pattern, texture and color across very different constructions, and to be recognized in a flooring category that included the best of the best tile and timber alongside carpet validates the ambition behind this work.”

Industry Recognition in Las Vegas

The 22nd annual Hospitality Design Awards were presented in Las Vegas earlier this month, attracting more than 400 industry guests.

Nourison Hospitality has confirmed that the Glassfall collection will be showcased again when the company returns to BDNY in November 2026.
