New FREYA cookware range combines titanium-enamel technology, oil-activated nonstick performance and toxin-free cooking.

Vinod Intelligent Cookware has launched FREYA, introducing what it describes as India’s first Titanium-Enamelled Cast Iron Cookware Range powered by its proprietary TREON Technology.

The premium cookware collection combines traditional cast iron with an oil-activated nonstick surface designed to improve with continued use. The range is available across India and international markets through retail outlets, Amazon, Noon and Vinod Cookware’s official website, with prices ranging from ₹2,200 to ₹6,000.

TREON Technology at the core

The FREYA collection is built around a five-layer architecture called TREON Technology, comprising:

  • Titanium: Scratch-resistant surface for long-term durability
  • Reinforced: Multi-layer bonded construction
  • Enamelled: Enhanced heat retention and even heat distribution
  • Oil Activated: Self-renewing nonstick performance designed to improve over time
  • Non-Toxin Material: Free from PFAS, PFOS, PFOA and PTFE

According to the company, the titanium-enamel surface is engineered to retain cooking oils more effectively, creating a cooking layer that supports smoother food release with repeated use.

Designed for healthier everyday cooking

The cookware offers the heat retention associated with cast iron while incorporating anti-rust enamel protection and a toxin-free cooking surface. Vinod said the technology has been independently validated through TÜV and SGS certifications, with testing indicating long-term nonstick performance compared with conventional PTFE and ceramic alternatives.

Product range

Available in Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue, the FREYA collection includes 11 products, such as:

  • Fry pans
  • Kadais
  • Dosa and roti tawas
  • Appam pans
  • Tadka pans
  • Sauce pans
  • Sauce pots

The cookware features ergonomic handles, induction compatibility and oven-safe construction to support a wide range of cooking applications.

Premium positioning

Commenting on the launch, Malvika Agarwal, Director, Vinod Cookware India Pvt. Ltd., said FREYA has been developed to combine the heritage of cast iron with enhanced performance, durability and convenience through material innovation.

Each product is packaged with a premium linen bag, cookware scrubber and protective safety sleeve, reinforcing the brand’s premium positioning.

FREYA follows the launches of Ceravit and Di CASA, reflecting Vinod Intelligent Cookware’s continued investment in performance-driven cookware and material science.
