Balmain Deploys Centric PLM to Accelerate Digital Transformation

Centric Software® has announced the successful deployment of Centric PLM™ at French luxury fashion house Balmain, enabling the company to replace multiple legacy systems with a unified platform covering its entire product lifecycle.

The implementation, completed in seven months, supports Balmain’s broader digital transformation strategy by providing a single platform for managing collections from initial design through market launch.

Founded in 1945 by Pierre Balmain, the French luxury house is known for its ready-to-wear, accessories, beauty and eyewear collections. As part of its operational transformation, the company selected Centric PLM to consolidate product lifecycle management and improve data consistency across its business.

Initially deployed for Balmain’s ready-to-wear division, the platform is planned to expand to accessories in a future phase. The system now serves as a single source of truth, helping streamline workflows, reduce duplicate data entries, improve bill of materials (BOM) management and enhance decision-making through more reliable product information.

According to the company, the implementation has also improved assortment planning, standardized operational processes and strengthened collaboration across teams.
