The Textile and Apparel Development Association (TAADA) will organise the National Textile Export Conclave 2026: Surat’s Export Roadmap on 19 July 2026 at SGCCI Platinum Hall, Sarsana, Surat. The event is being organised with the support of iNDEXTb, Government of Gujarat.
The conclave is aimed at textile industrialists, manufacturers, exporters, garment manufacturers, fabric traders, embroidery entrepreneurs, designers, startups and other stakeholders associated with the textile and fashion industry.
The event will focus on the opportunities and challenges shaping Surat’s export journey. Industry experts will share insights on products aligned with global market demand, high-demand international categories and ways for businesses to begin exporting and secure new export orders.
Discussions will also cover connecting with international buyers and buying houses, government schemes and export incentives, export support from the Central and State Governments, compliances, certifications, quality standards and policy requirements. Strategies to remain competitive in the evolving global marketplace will also be addressed.
The conclave will feature speakers from government institutions, export promotion organisations, buying houses, export houses and the textile industry. Successful exporters and industry experts are expected to share their experiences and practical insights with participants.
The event will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by FASHIONOVA 2026, a fashion presentation organised by the Institute of Design & Technology (IDT) from 7:00 PM.
The fashion showcase will present sustainability-inspired themes focused on environmental conservation, innovation and Indian craftsmanship. Around 250 students from various IDT centres across the country will participate in the presentation, showcasing their own design collections and garments on the runway.
Through the conclave, TAADA aims to bring together key textile and fashion stakeholders to discuss export opportunities, market requirements and strategies for strengthening Surat’s position in the global textile trade.
