Maison Shanghai will return to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center from September 7–10, 2026, introducing the theme “Design Without Limits” and a new exhibition framework designed to connect creativity, business and global design innovation.

The 2026 edition positions design as a bridge between creativity, industry, culture and international business opportunities through a newly introduced “4 Theme Halls + 1 Design Gathering Programme” format.

The exhibition will feature four dedicated themed halls covering different aspects of the home furnishing and interior design industry.

Hall 1 – Decoration Aesthetics: The Language of Space will focus on contemporary interiors through decorative products, soft furnishings, materials and spatial design solutions.

Hall 2 – New Channel Selection: Connecting Manufacturing with Global Markets will highlight sourcing opportunities by bringing together Chinese manufacturers with international buyers, designers and emerging distribution channels.

Hall 3 – Design Highland: The Creative and Intellectual Core of Contemporary Chinese Design will showcase innovations shaped by craftsmanship, technology, sustainability and future living concepts, reflecting the evolution of modern Chinese design.

Hall 4 – Future Presence: Exploring New Possibilities will serve as an innovation platform for emerging designers, creative brands and new business models shaping the industry’s future.

Complementing the exhibition, the Design Gathering Programme will feature industry forums, product launches and networking events, providing opportunities for designers, manufacturers, brands and business leaders to exchange ideas and build partnerships.

Maison Shanghai 2026 will be held alongside Furniture China 2026, scheduled for September 8–11, creating a comprehensive platform for international professionals involved in furniture, home décor and interior design.

The combined events are expected to strengthen Shanghai’s position as a key destination for design innovation, sourcing and business collaboration across the global home furnishing industry.
