Heimtextil is expanding its Bed, Bath & Living segment with the introduction of ‘Comfort & Connect’, a new exhibition area located in the foyer of Hall 5.1. The initiative aims to strengthen the trade fair’s offering by bringing together premium bed, bath and lifestyle brands in a centrally located networking and sourcing hub.

The new area complements the existing ‘Sleep & Meet’ concept and further enhances Heimtextil’s platform for exhibitors and international buyers. Designed to offer easy accessibility and efficient networking, Comfort & Connect will connect established brands, returning exhibitors and key buyers from global retail and hospitality markets.

Among the companies already confirmed are Auskin Europe, Essenza Home, Formesse, Hermann Biederlack, Ibena Textilwerke, Sprügel Hometex, Stuco and Zoeppritz. Several exhibitors will return to Heimtextil after an extended absence, reflecting renewed confidence in the international trade fair platform.

Commenting on the launch, Margit Herberth, Director of Heimtextil, said the new area offers a compact exhibition concept with short distances and improved accessibility for visitors. She noted that strong exhibitor demand highlights the industry’s continued need for an internationally focused business platform, particularly during challenging economic conditions.

Comfort & Connect is tailored for specialist retailers, particularly bedding retailers, along with decision-makers from the hospitality and contract furnishing sectors and international sourcing professionals. The exhibition will feature a broad selection of bed and bath textiles, decorative cushions, home accessories and lifestyle collections.

Strategically positioned in the foyer of Hall 5.1, the area provides direct access to the broader Bed, Bath & Living sections located in Halls 5.0 and 5.1, as well as the Smart Bedding exhibition in Hall 4.0.

Alongside the new concept, Heimtextil will also bring back ‘Sleep & Meet’ in partnership with the Matratzen-Industrie e. V. trade association. Located in Hall 4.0, the dedicated Smart Bedding area will showcase innovations in mattresses and sleep systems.

Confirmed participants for Sleep & Meet include Auping Germany, Bettwaren Stendebach, Dormiente, EuroComfort Group (including Badenia, Brinkhaus, Lück and Schlaraffia), f.a.n. frankenstolz (with Heinrich Häussling and Centa Star), Hüsler Nest, Paar Matratzenfabrik, and Schwarzwald Schlafsysteme.

The expanded exhibition concept reinforces Heimtextil’s position as a leading international platform for the home and contract textiles industry by providing enhanced sourcing opportunities, networking spaces and product showcases across the bedding and home living sectors.
