Growing global demand for renewable materials, transparent sourcing and sustainable textile solutions is placing natural fibres firmly in the spotlight at Yarn Expo Autumn 2026. Scheduled from 25–27 August at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the exhibition will feature an expanded India Pavilion, reinforcing India’s position as a leading global supplier of cotton yarn and sustainable fibre solutions.
Organised by TEXPROCIL, the India Pavilion will host more than 40 exhibitors, more than doubling its presence compared to the previous edition. The pavilion will showcase a wide range of cotton yarns, traceable fibre solutions, recycled materials and value-added yarns that cater to the evolving needs of apparel, home textiles and technical textile manufacturers.
With the global natural fibre market projected to reach USD 68.37 billion in 2026, Yarn Expo Autumn aims to connect international buyers with suppliers offering certified cotton, recycled yarns and innovative natural fibre blends designed for high-performance and sustainable textile applications.
India’s pavilion will feature products including BCI-certified cotton, combed and compact yarns, along with materials developed under the Kasturi Cotton Bharat traceability initiative, highlighting India’s commitment to transparency and quality across the cotton value chain.
Among the exhibitors, Excel Enterprise will present premium Shankar-6 raw cotton and long-staple combed cotton yarns suitable for fine weaving and circular knitting, while Shreedhar Cotsyn will showcase 100% combed and compact cotton yarns, multi-tone mélange collections and cotton blends incorporating acrylic, viscose and plant-based cellulose fibres for fashion, activewear and knitwear applications.
Global Cotton and Sustainable Fibre Showcase
Beyond the India Pavilion, Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will bring together leading fibre suppliers from major textile-producing countries.
The Cotton Council International from the United States will present COTTON USA™, highlighting farm-to-spindle transparency and sustainability metrics for buyers seeking traceable sourcing solutions.
Indonesia’s Duniatex Group will showcase its integrated capabilities across spinning, weaving, dyeing and knitting, while Pakistan’s Ihsan Cotton Products will feature recycled cotton open-end yarns manufactured using post-industrial textile waste, supporting circular textile production.
The exhibition will also highlight emerging sustainable fibre innovations. Companies including PT DAN LIRIS (Indonesia) and Toray Industries (Japan) will present TENCEL™-based offerings, while Yajur Fibres (India) and Better International (Hong Kong) will exhibit bamboo fibre solutions. Meanwhile, Circ Inc. (USA) and Everest Textile (Taiwan) will showcase advanced lyocell innovations for next-generation textile manufacturing.

Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will be held alongside Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC, and PH Value, creating one of Asia’s largest integrated textile sourcing platforms. The concurrent exhibitions will bring together suppliers and buyers from across the fibre, yarn, fabrics, apparel and knitting industries, enabling comprehensive sourcing and business networking opportunities.
