Cross-border e-commerce specialist Asendia has partnered with global creative marketplace Etsy to provide sellers with streamlined domestic and international shipping solutions through its SendNow digital shipping platform.
The collaboration will make Asendia SendNow available to Etsy sellers across eight markets in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region: Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Australia, India and Vietnam.
The partnership combines Etsy’s community of independent creative entrepreneurs with Asendia’s international logistics network, addressing the shipping challenges faced by small businesses and individual sellers who often manage product creation, sales and fulfilment themselves.
Digital Shipping Platform for Small Businesses
Asendia SendNow is a self-service digital shipping platform designed for small businesses and marketplace sellers. It provides end-to-end shipping management through a single online interface, enabling merchants to manage their logistics more efficiently.
The platform is intended to simplify shipping processes while giving sellers greater flexibility in handling domestic and international orders.
Roman Sobieri, Senior Director of Global Shipping at Etsy, said simplified shipping is an important part of helping Etsy sellers turn their creative businesses into sustainable livelihoods. He added that partnerships with trusted logistics providers can give sellers more flexible and reliable delivery options.
Access to 180+ Global Destinations
Through the partnership, sellers in the eight participating markets will have access to domestic delivery services as well as international shipping to more than 180 destinations worldwide through the Asendia network.
The expanded shipping access is designed to help small businesses serve customers beyond their domestic markets while reducing the complexity associated with cross-border fulfilment.
“Shipping can be a challenge for many small business owners,” said Simon Batt, CEO at Asendia. “Through our partnership with Etsy and the Asendia SendNow platform, we’re simplifying logistics so sellers can focus more on growing their businesses and less on shipping.”
Strengthening Cross-Border E-Commerce
The partnership reflects Asendia’s strategy of expanding its solutions for rapidly growing e-commerce markets. By integrating its shipping capabilities with established online marketplaces, the company aims to provide scalable logistics services tailored to the needs of independent merchants and growing online businesses.
For Etsy sellers, access to a dedicated digital shipping platform can support smoother order fulfilment and international expansion, while giving small businesses a more structured approach to managing their delivery operations.
Expanding an Existing Global Partnership
The collaboration builds on an existing relationship between Etsy and Asendia. Etsy already uses Asendia’s shipping services for deliveries originating in the United States.
The broader availability of SendNow across Europe and APAC marks a further step in the companies’ efforts to support independent sellers with convenient and scalable shipping solutions as cross-border e-commerce continues to expand.
