Fabric-first apparel brand Wellbi has added Zerodha to its growing portfolio of corporate apparel clients, supplying T-shirts for the company’s entire team. The company-wide order comprises 1,150 T-shirts, further strengthening Wellbi’s presence in the corporate apparel segment.

Karthik Rangappa, Chief of Education at Zerodha and an existing Wellbi customer, recommended the brand for the company-wide order. Commenting on the product, he said, “A good T-shirt has three basic requirements: it should hold its colour, retain its shape after washing, and fit well. Wellbi T-shirts are highly breathable and feel great.”

Zerodha joins Wellbi’s expanding roster of corporate clients across technology, financial services, hospitality and other sectors. The brand’s corporate apparel portfolio includes companies such as Meta, Adobe, Cisco, Amazon and JW Marriott, among others.

Building Corporate Apparel Around Fabric and Comfort

For Wellbi, the Zerodha order reinforces its approach to corporate apparel, where company merchandise is designed to function as everyday clothing rather than simply branded eventwear.

The Mysuru-based brand has developed three proprietary bamboo-cotton blends designed for different applications. Its fabric-first approach focuses on qualities that employees experience directly, including softness, breathability, moisture management and all-day comfort.

Wellbi’s focus on fabric innovation traces back to its beginnings in Mysuru in 2021. Founder and CEO Supreeth Kashyap initially developed an interest in rural development, which led him to work with handlooms and rural artisans. As the team gained a deeper understanding of textiles and customer requirements, its focus evolved towards improving fabric quality and everyday apparel comfort.

“For us, trust has always started with the product. A company can give an employee a T-shirt once, but we don’t want that T-shirt to remain in the wardrobe after the event is over. If the employee voluntarily reaches for it again, to work, while travelling, at home or over the weekend, that is when we believe we’ve made a good product,” said Supreeth Kashyap, Founder and CEO, Wellbi.

Expanding Beyond T-shirts

Wellbi has expanded its product portfolio beyond T-shirts into polos, performance wear, innerwear and women’s wear. Alongside its corporate apparel operations, the company also sells directly to consumers through its website and marketplaces including Amazon and Myntra.

Across its sales channels, Wellbi has crossed ₹1 crore in monthly revenue, reflecting the brand’s growing consumer and corporate presence.

The company’s latest corporate partnership with Zerodha highlights its broader strategy of combining fabric development with practical, everyday apparel. Rather than treating corporate clothing solely as branded merchandise, Wellbi is positioning its products as apparel that employees can continue wearing beyond the workplace or corporate event.

Customer Endorsement

Wellbi’s product proposition has also received appreciation from other business leaders. Ganesh Sonawane, Founder and CEO of Frido, said, “This is definitely the most comfortable polo tee I have ever worn. The fabric, GSM and composition optimisation is genius. Wellbi has surpassed my expectations with this launch. Well done, Supreeth Kashyap and team!”

With the Zerodha order adding another prominent corporate name to its client portfolio, Wellbi is continuing to build its corporate apparel business around fabric performance, comfort and repeat everyday use.
