Combining intuitive ergonomics, personalised comfort, accessible value and carbon-efficient design, Elate aims to deliver enhanced task seating without unnecessary complexity.
Designed for a wide range of workplace environments, Elate is suited to corporate offices, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), flexible workspaces, collaborative areas and large-scale workstation deployments. The chair incorporates a weight-controlled synchronised mechanism, generous recline, adjustable lumbar support and seat depth, seating tension adjustment and a self-supporting mesh back.
Intuitive Ergonomics for Personalised Comfort
At the core of Elate is Senator’s weight-controlled Body Balance Tilt mechanism, which responds to the user’s weight and movement. The mechanism offers up to 18 degrees of recline, allowing users to move comfortably between focused working positions and more relaxed postures.
A travel limiter and upright lock provide additional control, while the weight-responsive mechanism reduces the need for complicated manual adjustments. This approach makes ergonomic seating more intuitive and adaptable to individual users.
Personalised comfort is further supported by 80mm of adjustable lumbar support and 50mm of seat-depth adjustment, enabling users to fine-tune their seating position. The self-supporting mesh back offers breathable support, while the upholstered seat with moulded foam is designed to provide comfort throughout the working day.
Elate is available in two configurations. The EE640 features a clean, armless design, while the EE640MF includes height-adjustable multifunctional arms, providing additional support for users engaged in extended desk-based work.

Sustainability is an integral part of Elate’s product proposition. Built around Senator’s philosophy of “doing more with less,” the chair has been developed to balance comfort, functionality and contemporary design while minimising unnecessary complexity.
