Häfele has introduced its ProLock PL50 Access Control System, a versatile access solution designed for modern hospitality environments where security, convenience and interior aesthetics need to work together. The system offers multiple unlocking options and customisable hardware configurations, enabling hotels and other hospitality spaces to tailor access management to their specific requirements.

Three Access Modes for Flexible Access Management

At the core of the ProLock PL50 is a three-mode access system that allows users to unlock doors through RFID cards, Bluetooth or mechanical keys. This combination gives hospitality operators flexibility in managing room access while accommodating different user preferences.

The battery-operated system is designed to support multiple users and scalable access points, while individual locking plans enable access configurations to be aligned with the operational requirements of different hospitality properties.

Design Options for Contemporary Interiors

Beyond access functionality, the PL50 provides design flexibility through a selection of four lever handle designs – E, D, H and K. The handles are available in three finishes: Satin, Gold and Black Matt.

These combinations allow the access control system to complement a range of contemporary interior styles. The understated design enables the lock hardware to integrate seamlessly with hospitality spaces while maintaining a refined appearance.

Balancing Security, Convenience and Aesthetics

With its combination of digital and conventional access options, configurable functionality and multiple hardware choices, the Häfele ProLock PL50 is designed to address the evolving requirements of hospitality spaces.

By bringing access management and design versatility together, the system provides hospitality environments with an adaptable approach to room access while allowing greater freedom in coordinating door hardware with overall interior concepts.
