The meeting included Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director of RSWM Limited, and other senior leaders from the company.

RSWM Shows Milkweed Fibre
RSWM Limited presented its Milkweed fibre at the meeting. The company also showed a ready garment made from the fibre. The team discussed the use of Milkweed in textiles. RSWM highlighted three main features of the fibre. It is lightweight, warm and silky. These features may suit textile products for colder regions.
The company also sees scope for Milkweed in other textile products.
Focus on Sustainable Fibre
RSWM Limited is exploring new uses for Milkweed. Milkweed is a natural and underused resource. The company is working to turn it into a useful textile material. This work could lead to new products for the textile industry. RSWM also wants to develop more sustainable textile solutions.
The company said its work can support textile production in India. It also aims to take these products to global markets.

RSWM Limited thanked Giriraj Singh for his guidance. The company also recognised the support of the Northern India Textile Research Association. RSWM said this support is helping the company develop its Milkweed fibre work. The company aims to continue its work on sustainable textile innovation.
