TrusTrace has launched a new supply chain intelligence platform.
The platform helps brands use supply chain data more effectively. It also helps teams manage compliance work.
The new platform builds on TrusTrace’s traceability and compliance systems. It adds new tools for supply chain intelligence and workflow automation.
Supply Chain Intelligence
The first phase focuses on Supply Chain Intelligence.
Brands can ask questions about their supply chains in natural language. They can search data about suppliers, facilities, products, materials, and supply chain links.
The platform can find gaps and patterns in the data. It can also create insights and reports in seconds.
TrusTrace uses real-time, lot-level forward traceability. It also uses AI-powered backward chain-of-custody data.
The data covers different materials and sourcing models. This gives brands a wider view of their supply chains.
“Every regulation ultimately asks the same question: can you prove it? But proving compliance starts much earlier, with understanding your supply chain, knowing where the gaps are and acting before they become problems,” said Shameek Ghosh, CEO and Co-Founder of TrusTrace.
Automated Compliance Workflows
TrusTrace is also adding a program builder and orchestrator.
The tool automates several supplier compliance tasks. These include vendor onboarding, supplier monitoring, assessments, and evidence requests.
It can also manage follow-ups and corrective actions.
This helps reduce repetitive manual work. Brands can use their own supply chain data to run these programs.
Three Connected Solutions
The TrusTrace platform now connects three main solution areas:
- Supplier Compliance helps brands check supplier requirements.
- Supply Chain Intelligence helps brands understand supply chain data.
- Product Compliance helps brands check product requirements.
Supplier Compliance and Product Compliance are already in use by brands.
Supply Chain Intelligence is the newest solution area.
The three areas use the same supply chain data and evidence foundation. This can reduce duplicate data requests and supplier work.
AI Across the Platform
AI is used across the new platform.
It supports data extraction and validation. It also helps users access supply chain information through natural language.
AI supports the automation of multi-step compliance programs. This can reduce manual work for brands and suppliers.
TrusTrace said a new program can go live in as little as three days. The first supplier data request can be sent during the first week.
The TrusTrace data foundation covers more than 120,000 suppliers across more than 80 countries.
Future Platform Updates
The new platform will roll out in phases.
Future updates will add regulatory intelligence and enterprise intelligence. These tools will connect external requirements and company policies with supply chain data.
The aim is to help brands identify compliance gaps earlier. It will also help them take action before issues become compliance failures.
TrusTrace said the platform is designed for both global enterprises and mid-sized companies.
The company will continue to add intelligence and automation features as the platform rollout progresses.
