The Filo66 exhibition has closed in Milan with strong results.
The International Yarns and Fibres Exhibition attracted a high number of visitors. Buyers explored new collections from leading exhibitors.
The collections focused on style, innovation and research.
Filo66 Brings Buyers and Exhibitors Together
Filo66 again took place alongside Lineapelle. The two exhibitions serve supply chains linked to the fashion industry.
Filo also continued its internationalisation programme. The aim is to help companies reach more overseas markets.
The exhibition worked with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and the Piedmont Region.
ITA brought 20 buyers to Filo66. The buyers came from France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, the UK, Turkey and India.
The Piedmont Region also supported the Buyers’ Days programme. The programme included a strong group of buyers from the UK.
Sustainability at Filo66
Sustainability remained an important topic at the Filo66 exhibition.
Filo continued its work with C.L.A.S.S. It also supported the InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. project.
The project highlights the work behind fashion products. It focuses on values, choices and supply chains.
The initiative also promotes awareness and responsible production.
Filo66 Highlights Textile Supply Chains
Paolo Monfermoso, Head of Filo, said the 66th edition closed positively.
He noted strong buyer attendance. He also said the number of exhibitors remained in line with the February edition.
Monfermoso highlighted the importance of strong textile supply chains. He said supply-chain cooperation can help address traceability and sustainability challenges.
Filo66 also introduced changes to its Trends Area.
The new layout placed weaving yarns beside knitwear yarns. This gives visitors a clearer view of exhibitors’ product ranges.
The Made in Filo area also received more space. Its layout was updated for the 66th edition.
Made in Filo presents a fabric collection created and produced by Filo. The area continues to attract interest from textile professionals.
Filo67 Scheduled for February 2027
The next edition of Filo will take place in February 2027.
Filo67 is scheduled for 23 and 24 February 2027 at Fiera Milano – Rho.
The event will continue Filo’s focus on yarns, fibres, innovation, sustainability and international business connections.
