Karl Mayer will showcase its latest textile machinery and fabric technologies at INDIA ITME 2026. The exhibition will take place from 4–9 December 2026 in Greater Noida, India.

The German textile machinery manufacturer will present solutions for warp knitting, warp preparation and technical textiles at Booth 15G19 in Hall 15. The display will include machinery presentations, fabric applications and information from technical specialists.

Karl Mayer sees growing opportunities in India’s textile sector. Demand for athleisure, footwear and technical textiles is creating interest in advanced manufacturing technologies.

The company will highlight tricot machines and jacquard double needle bar raschel machines. These technologies support the production of stretch fabrics, patterned shoe uppers and functional apparel materials.

Mark Smith, Deputy Vice President of Sales for Karl Mayer’s Warp Knitting business unit, said circular knitters are showing interest in warp knitting technology. They see opportunities to improve production output, maintain consistent quality and expand their product ranges.

Karl Mayer will also present its warp preparation portfolio, including warping, sizing and assembly equipment. Its Prosize sizing machine and Warpdirect warping machine will be among the solutions highlighted for India’s weaving industry. According to the company, Prosize can reduce sizing agent consumption by up to 10%.

Technical textiles will form another key part of the presentation. Karl Mayer sees opportunities in geogrids, composite reinforcement fabrics and materials for wind turbine blades. These applications serve infrastructure, transport and renewable energy markets.

The company will also introduce an expanded Spare Parts Webshop for Indian warp knitting customers. The service will provide online access to commonly required machine wear parts.

Through INDIA ITME 2026, Karl Mayer aims to strengthen its engagement with Indian manufacturers and demonstrate technologies for efficient production and higher-value textile applications.
