Miele showcased its latest smart home appliances at IFA 2026, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI), automation and simpler household routines. The German appliance manufacturer introduced the G8 Diamond dishwasher, expanded its W2/T2 laundry care range and presented its Cary concept study.

The new products aim to reduce the number of decisions users make during cooking, dishwashing and laundry care.

G8 Diamond Dishwasher Automates Cleaning

The G8 Diamond is the top-of-the-range model in Miele’s new dishwasher generation. It uses an integrated camera to identify the load and types of dishes. The appliance then adjusts the wash cycle accordingly.

It also automatically dispenses detergent and uses a hot-air drying system. The system is designed to dry dishes reliably, including plastic items. Through the Miele App, users can set preferences for loading levels and start times.

AI CulinaryCoach Supports Cooking

Miele also highlighted CulinaryCoach, an AI-based cooking assistant available through the Miele App. It combines recipe knowledge with appliance expertise to recommend suitable oven settings.

The assistant can answer preparation questions and transfer compatible settings directly to the oven. This helps users select cooking modes, temperatures and cooking times with greater ease.

W2/T2 Laundry Range Expands

At IFA 2026, Miele completed its new W2/T2 laundry care generation with additional appliance classes and a consistent design. The Platinum, Gold and Silver classes extend the range beyond the previously introduced Nova Edition models.

Convenience features include automatic detergent dispensing and programmes that adapt to laundry types and load sizes. The appliances are also designed to support fabric care and reduce uncertainty during drying.

Cary Concept Study Shows Future of Laundry

Miele presented Cary, a concept study exploring how laundry care could become simpler. The concept uses intelligent sensors and AI to identify textile types and colours. It then adjusts the washing programme and detergent dosage.

The concept aims to reduce the need for users to select settings manually. Miele’s vision is to make laundry care as simple as loading the machine and pressing start.

The company said its developments build on 127 years of expertise. Its approach focuses on placing more technical decisions within appliances while making everyday use simpler.

Miele has operated in India for more than 16 years through Miele India Pvt. Ltd. Its portfolio includes premium kitchen appliances, dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers and vacuum cleaners.
