Future of Fashion: Regenerative Sportswear by Under Armour x UNLESS Launches in Milan

Milan, Italy – Under Armour, Inc. and UNLESS, Inc. have joined forces to introduce a groundbreaking regenerative sportswear collection at Fuorisalone, during Milan Design Week (April 8–10, 2025). Marking their first-ever collaboration, the launch presents a transformative approach to performance apparel fusing innovation with environmental responsibility.

The immersive installation takes visitors on a sensory journey, showcasing the lifecycle of the collection from plant-based origins to high-performance sportswear, and ultimately, to compostable end-of-life, creating a closed-loop system.

“As a brand that has consistently disrupted the industry, we are prepared to do it again,” said Eric Liedtke, Brand President of Under Armour. “This collection is designed not just for athletes, but for the planet made entirely from plant-based materials and engineered to return to nature without leaving a trace.”

The collection features hoodies, t-shirts, and shorts across men’s, women’s, and unisex styles. Retailing between USD $30 and $160, the pieces combine vibrant design with a commitment to zero plastic waste.

This debut reflects a powerful statement: sustainability and high-performance design can coexist. By pioneering fully regenerative, plastic-free apparel, Under Armour and UNLESS are setting a bold precedent for the future of the sportswear industry.
