Aastha Spintex to Enter Value-Added Fabrics, Strengthening Textile Value Chain

Aastha Spintex Limited has announced plans to expand into the value-added fabric segment as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence across the textile value chain and enhance long-term business growth.

The Gujarat-based cotton yarn manufacturer said the move will enable the company to leverage its existing raw material base, manufacturing expertise and the state’s well-established textile ecosystem. By entering the value-added fabrics segment, Aastha Spintex aims to move closer to end customers while improving operational efficiency and profitability.

The expansion follows the company’s acquisition of Falcon Yarns Private Limited, a strategic move that has significantly increased its manufacturing capabilities.

Following the acquisition, Aastha Spintex’s annual spinning capacity has increased from 7,700 metric tonnes (MT) to 17,457 MT, more than doubling its production capacity and strengthening its position in the domestic textile industry.

Commenting on the company’s growth strategy, Divyang Jashwant Patel, Managing Director of Aastha Spintex Limited, said every phase of the company’s expansion has been guided by a long-term vision of building a stronger and more integrated textile business. He added that the company believes this is the right time to move further along the textile value chain as it continues to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities.

In addition to the capacity expansion, Aastha Spintex has secured customer orders worth approximately ₹76.78 crore. According to a stock exchange filing, the order book for the July to October 2026 period represents more than 21% of the company’s FY2024–25 revenue, reflecting continued demand for its cotton yarn products.

Established in Gujarat, Aastha Spintex operates an integrated spinning facility in Halvad, manufacturing carded, combed and compact cotton yarns for customers across the weaving, knitting, hosiery and garment sectors in both domestic and international markets.

The planned expansion into value-added fabrics marks the company’s next phase of vertical integration as it seeks to diversify its product portfolio and strengthen its position within India’s growing textile manufacturing ecosystem.
