New Delhi/Mumbai, January 20, 2025 – Bharti Airtel, a leading telecom service provider, and Bajaj Finance, India’s largest private-sector NBFC, have announced a strategic partnership to build one of the country’s largest digital platforms for financial services, aimed at revolutionizing last-mile delivery.

The partnership leverages Airtel’s 375 million customers and extensive distribution network of 12 lakh+ outlets, along with Bajaj Finance’s diverse portfolio of 27 product lines and a robust presence of 5,000+ branches and 70,000 field agents.

To begin with, Airtel will offer Bajaj Finance’s financial products through the Airtel Thanks App for a seamless digital experience, followed by integration through its nationwide retail network. This collaboration is poised to deepen the reach of financial services across India.

Key Features and Offerings

  • Expanded Product Access: Bajaj Finance’s products, including Gold Loan, Business Loan, a co-branded Insta EMI Card, and Personal Loan, will be progressively rolled out on the Airtel Thanks App by March 2025, with more to follow throughout the year.
  • Flexible EMI Solutions: Airtel-Bajaj Finserv EMI cards will provide flexible payment options for purchases at 1.5 lakh+ partner stores across 4,000+ cities, including e-commerce platforms.
  • Gold Loan Accessibility: The Airtel Thanks App now enables easy gold loan applications, opening doors for first-time credit users to access finance.
