Benjamin Moore has introduced its Color Trends 2027 palette, bringing together rich greens, warm neutrals, soft pastels and deep earthy shades. The collection focuses on creating balanced interiors through colours that combine timeless appeal with contemporary design.

The palette features eight complementary shades, with Webster Green taking centre stage as the brand’s 2027 Color of the Year. The collection also includes colours that work independently or together across different rooms.

According to Helen Shaw, Director of Marketing (International) at Benjamin Moore, the palette combines tawny browns, dusky pastels, softened off-whites and sophisticated ochres. These shades offer homeowners different ways to create characterful and welcoming interiors.

Webster Green Leads the 2027 Colour Palette

Webster Green is the central shade in Benjamin Moore’s 2027 collection. Its deep, sophisticated appearance adds character to interiors while complementing both traditional and contemporary design styles.

The brand selected seven additional colours to highlight the versatility of this green. Together, the shades create opportunities for coordinated colour schemes throughout the home.

The complete palette includes:

  • Webster Green: A rich green that creates a striking foundation for interior spaces.
  • White Down: A soft off-white that balances deeper shades and adds subtle warmth.
  • Antique Copper: An earthy brown with spiced undertones that brings warmth to interiors.
  • Shakespeare Tan: A golden neutral that adds depth and a honey-inspired finish.
  • Nelson Blue: A gentle blue that creates a calm and refreshing atmosphere.
  • Wild Aster: A soft pink with lilac undertones that introduces a delicate touch.
  • Durango: A deep, earthy shade that offers an alternative to conventional grey and beige.
  • Townsend Harbor Brown: A rich brown that pairs well with softer colours and adds visual depth.

Soft Blues and Neutrals Create Relaxing Interiors

Nelson Blue offers a gentle colour choice for kitchens and bedrooms. Its soft appearance brings a sense of calm without making interiors feel overly cool.

Benjamin Moore recommends pairing Nelson Blue with White Down for an elegant combination. Darker furniture and rust-coloured accents can add contrast and character to the overall design.

White Down also provides flexibility across different interior styles. Its warm appearance works well with both pastel shades and deeper colours.

Moody Browns and Golden Tones Add Depth

The 2027 palette also highlights deeper shades that bring warmth and richness to modern homes.

Durango offers an earthy alternative to traditional grey and beige. Its golden olive undertones complement natural light and create depth in living spaces.

Shakespeare Tan introduces honey-inspired warmth through its yellow undertones. The shade works particularly well with Durango in living rooms and dining areas.

Benjamin Moore also suggests extending colour schemes to ceilings. This approach can create a more immersive interior while connecting different design elements.

Earthy Pinks Bring a Softer Look to Interiors

Wild Aster introduces a delicate pink shade with subtle lilac undertones. It offers an alternative to conventional neutral colours while maintaining a soft appearance.

The shade works well in reading corners, bedrooms and other relaxing spaces. Pairing Wild Aster with Townsend Harbor Brown creates a balanced combination of soft and deep tones.

Antique Copper also adds an earthy touch to interior schemes. When paired with White Down, it creates a warm and comfortable setting for studies and reading rooms.

A Balanced Approach to Interior Colour Trends in 2027

Benjamin Moore’s Color Trends 2027 palette brings together eight shades that balance bold colours with softer neutrals. The collection encourages homeowners to explore colour combinations while maintaining a timeless interior style.

From rich greens and moody browns to gentle blues and earthy pinks, the palette offers options for different rooms and design preferences. Its focus on versatile colours also supports a more considered approach to decorating beyond short-lived trends.
