Bharat Recycling Show 2025 Set to Accelerate India’s Circular Economy

Mumbai, July 2, 2025 — Media Fusion and Crain Communications are set to launch the Bharat Recycling Show 2025, India’s largest exhibition and conference focused on commodity recycling. Scheduled for November 13–15, 2025, at the Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai, the event will serve as a crucial platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to exchange ideas, showcase advancements in recycling technologies, and drive the growth of sustainable waste management.

In a strategic move to foster cross-industry collaboration, the Bharat Recycling Show will run alongside the second edition of the Plastics Recycling Show India. This dual event aims to provide a comprehensive overview of recycling solutions and strengthen partnerships that advance India’s circular economy.

Taher Patrawala, Managing Director of Media Fusion, emphasized the urgent need for progress, noting that India’s waste management market is expected to reach USD 18.40 billion by 2030. Currently, only 30% of recyclable waste is being processed, highlighting immense untapped potential. The Bharat Recycling Show will bring together key stakeholders to inspire innovation, influence policy, and promote sustainable practices across multiple recycling sectors.

The exhibition will cover a wide array of commodities including:

  • Metals: Ferrous (iron, steel) and non-ferrous (aluminum, copper, zinc, lead, gold, silver) recycling.

  • E-waste: Innovations in electronic waste management.

  • Battery Recycling: Safe disposal and reuse of batteries.

  • End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs): Advanced dismantling and recycling processes.

  • Tyre Recycling: Sustainable solutions to minimize environmental harm.

  • Paper, Wood, Textiles, and Construction & Demolition (C&D) Waste: Showcasing cutting-edge recycling technologies across diverse industries.

Supported by industry bodies like the India Lead Zinc Development Association (ILZDA) and MTLEXS, the event will also feature global and domestic recycling pioneers including LAMACART, Forest Resources, and Power Hydrotech.

Matthew Barber, Global Events Director at Crain Communications, highlighted the event’s importance amid the rapid growth of India’s recycling sector. He noted that the Bharat Recycling Show is designed to bring together key players to present solutions, tackle challenges, and encourage policy and technology discussions crucial to sustainable development.

The event will also host a high-level conference on essential topics such as circular economy strategies, regulatory frameworks, emerging technologies, and innovations in sustainable packaging. The goal is to bridge industry knowledge gaps and promote a shift towards more eco-friendly waste management systems in India.
