Dubai, November 14, 2024: On November 12, 2024, a roadshow was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which effectively marketed the global textile festival Bharat Tex 2025. The event’s primary goal was to raise awareness of the numerous prospects and reaffirm India’s standing as a major global textile powerhouse with enormous potential in innovation, technology, and sustainable practices. The roadshow emphasized the benefits of expanding India-UAE commerce under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which fortifies the standing and connections of the Indian textile industry in the GCC.
The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) is one of the Textile Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) organizing Bharat Tex 2025, with assistance from the Indian government’s Ministry of Textiles.
