Bharat Tex 2026 Opens Today with 1,600 Exhibitors at Bharat Mandapam
India’s flagship textile exhibition begins in New Delhi with global participation, business networking and industry-focused knowledge sessions.
Bharat Tex 2026 opens today at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, with Union Minister for Textiles Giriraj Singh inaugurating India’s flagship global textile exhibition.
The inaugural ceremony will also be attended by Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, and Arti Kanwar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, highlighting the Government of India’s continued focus on strengthening the country’s textile and apparel sector.
Organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation with the support of the Ministry of Textiles, the four-day exhibition brings together the complete textile value chain, including fibres, yarns, fabrics, apparel, home textiles, technical textiles, machinery, chemicals and sustainability solutions.
This year’s edition features 1,600 exhibitors, showcasing more than 20,000 products, with participation from 7,000+ international buyers, an estimated 1.3 lakh trade visitors, delegates from 20+ countries, and 350+ global speakers. The exhibition will also host 100+ knowledge sessions, facilitate 3,500 curated B2B meetings, and witness the signing of 20+ strategic MoUs.
Bharat Tex 2026 is expected to serve as a platform for policy announcements, business partnerships, technology launches and investment discussions aimed at enhancing India’s position in the global textile industry.
A key feature of this year’s event is the return of the Official Bharat Tex Show Daily Newspaper, published by Textile Excellence following its debut at Bharat Tex 2025. Published daily from 14 to 17 July, the newspaper will provide coverage of product launches, exhibitor updates, business developments, knowledge sessions, investment news and market intelligence.
The publication will distribute an average of 30,000 printed copies each day to exhibitors and visitors while also reaching audiences through the Bharat Tex website and mobile app, the Textile Excellence website, email campaigns, WhatsApp and social media. The combined print and digital platforms are expected to reach more than 1.48 million industry professionals during the exhibition.
