Blum Showcases TANDEMBOX antaro Drawer System for Modern Interiors
Blum has highlighted the versatility of its TANDEMBOX antaro, a full-extension double-walled box system designed to deliver smooth drawer movement, minimalist aesthetics and flexible storage solutions across kitchens, bathrooms and other living spaces.
Built around Blum’s proven cabinet profile, the TANDEMBOX antaro incorporates low-friction cylindrical nylon rollers that minimise metal wear while ensuring a consistently smooth glide throughout the drawer’s lifetime. The system has been tested for 100,000 opening and closing cycles and is available in 30 kg and 65 kg load capacities to accommodate a wide range of residential storage applications.
The company states that the box system undergoes comprehensive quality testing, including static load, lateral load and slam-open and slam-shut tests, exceeding legal requirements and international quality standards.
Minimalist design with multiple configuration options
TANDEMBOX antaro features a clean rectangular profile with a minimalist appearance and is available in grey, silk white and stainless steel finishes. The system is offered in nominal lengths ranging from 350 mm to 650 mm, with two side heights—M and the deeper D—allowing designers to customise drawer configurations for different furniture applications.
The drawer system can be integrated with Blum’s motion technologies to enhance user convenience:
- BLUMOTION for soft and silent closing.
- SERVO-DRIVE for electrically assisted touch-to-open operation with soft closing.
- TIP-ON BLUMOTION for mechanical push-to-open functionality combined with soft closing.
The latter two options also enable handleless furniture designs.
Simplified installation and organisation
Installation is supported by INSERTA technology, enabling quick, tool-free assembly, while three-dimensional adjustment options allow precise alignment for height, side positioning and tilt. Blum also offers installation guidance through its EASY ASSEMBLY mobile application, available for Android and iOS devices.
To improve interior organisation, TANDEMBOX antaro is compatible with ORGA-LINE, Blum’s internal drawer organisation system designed to neatly arrange cutlery, cookware, bottles, chopping boards and other household items while improving accessibility.
