Boll & Branch, a direct-to-consumer bedding manufacturer, has opened a new kind of store in Chicagoland to increase its omnichannel presence.
On October 15, the business debuted its newest retail location in Oakbrook Center, utilizing what it calls “a new and unique” format. The store is housed in a modern glass cube that is 778 square feet.
“This store will serve as a highly visible branding opportunity, despite being smaller than typical Boll & Branch locations,” the business stated. “The retail space is designed to embody the essence of the brand, showcasing Boll & Branch’s exceptional products alongside carefully curated assortments.”
A full Christmas exhibition and a bed covered in holiday offerings are examples of visual displays intended to draw in onlookers.
According to the company, “[Boll & Branch] can meet their target audience where they are and try out new retail formats in different markets thanks to this unique space, which is a first for the brand.”
The eighth Boll & Branch store is located in Oakbrook. Additionally, the privately held business has locations in Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Short Hills, New Jersey, Shrewsbury, New Jersey, Greenwich, Connecticut, and Boca Raton, Florida.
According to HTT’s annual Top 50 Retailers survey, the company’s home textile sales in 2023 were anticipated to be $196 million.
In 2014, Boll & Branch was founded with an emphasis on bedding made entirely of organic cotton. Since then, it has grown to include comforters, blankets, duvet sets, and sleep
