Bombay Dyeing has introduced six distinctive designs from its Celebrating India Collection, bringing traditional Indian art and craftsmanship into modern bedrooms. Announced on 22 October 2026, the collection draws inspiration from embroidery, folk art, textile printing and weaving traditions.
Six Designs Inspired by Indian Heritage
The Celebrating India Collection features six designs: Chamba Rumal, Warli Print, Chikankari, Wax Batik, Carpet Weaving and Karad Weaving Craft. Each design reflects a different artistic tradition through its motifs, colours and patterns.
Chamba Rumal features vibrant colours and intricate floral motifs. Warli Print draws on tribal art and nature-inspired patterns. Meanwhile, Chikankari uses delicate embroidery-inspired details in soft pastel shades.
Wax Batik combines abstract leaves and geometric patterns with layered colours. Carpet Weaving takes inspiration from Persian-style designs and ornamental motifs. Karad Weaving Craft incorporates geometric borders and earthy tones inspired by traditional weaving.
Cotton Bedding Meets Contemporary Design
The collection combines traditional influences with modern bedding aesthetics. All six designs use 100% cotton fabric, a 300 thread count (TC) and digital prints.
The designs range from vibrant folk-art patterns to subtle embroidery-inspired details. They offer different styling options for bedrooms while reflecting India’s diverse artistic heritage.
Through the Celebrating India Collection, Bombay Dyeing brings traditional craft influences into contemporary home textiles. The collection highlights the role of Indian art and textile traditions in modern bedroom design.
