BW Converting to Showcase TexCoat G4 at ITM 2026

Textile technologies in Istanbul to focus on efficiency, fabric quality and lower resource consumption

BW Converting announced that it will present the Baldwin TexCoat® G4 precision spray finishing system and Corona Pure technology at ITM 2026, scheduled to take place from June 9 to 13, 2026, in Istanbul, Turkey.

Visitors attending Hall 11, Booth 1113A will be able to explore how the company’s textile technologies are designed to support improved process control, enhanced fabric finishing quality, and reduced consumption of chemistry, water, and energy across textile manufacturing operations.

At the center of the company’s presentation is the Baldwin TexCoat G4 system, which uses Precision Application Technology to apply chemistry accurately to one or both sides of fabric surfaces. The system replaces conventional bath-based application methods with a non-contact spray process, helping reduce wet pick-up by up to 50 percent. According to the company, this contributes to lower water usage, reduced drying energy demand, and a more consistent finishing process.

“ITM is an important meeting point for textile manufacturers looking for ways to improve productivity, lower operating costs and strengthen process consistency,” said Yiannis Vasilonikolos. “With Baldwin TexCoat G4, mills can reduce water, energy and chemical usage while maintaining the high standards of finishing quality the market demands. We are also looking forward to discussing how BW Converting’s broader textile technologies can help manufacturers optimize downstream performance.”

The company also highlighted commercial implementation results from Zaman Textile Mills in Pakistan. According to the company, Baldwin TexCoat G4 helped reduce chemical usage by up to 50 percent and increased production by 30 percent compared with earlier finishing methods, while maintaining required finishing standards.

“Since installing Baldwin TexCoat G4, we’ve reduced water, energy and chemical consumption while increasing production,” said Atif Siddiqui. “The system has helped us maintain our finishing standards, and we’ve also seen improvements in fabric quality, consistency and hand feel.”

Alongside TexCoat G4, BW Converting will also present Corona Pure, the company’s surface treatment technology developed to improve adhesion and fabric performance. The technology is intended to support textile manufacturers transitioning from C6 fluorocarbon-based water repellents toward C0 fluorocarbon-free chemistries by improving absorbency and supporting stronger water-repellent performance.

According to the company, the application reflects its ongoing focus on supporting textile mills adapting to evolving chemistry requirements while maintaining product quality standards.
