The biggest company in the world of bed linens, Indo Count Industries Ltd., recently revealed another calculated strategy to grow its Utility Bedding division.
A 100% stake in Modern Home Textiles, Inc., a manufacturer of a variety of pillows and other filled products (Utility Bedding) with a facility in Phoenix, Arizona, and an annual capacity of 8 million pillows, has been acquired by Indo Count Global, Inc. (ICG), a U.S.-based wholly owned subsidiary of Indo Count Industries.

Additionally, ICG purchased the majority of Fluvitex USA, Inc., a Columbus, Ohio-based pillow and quilt manufacturer with the ability to make 1.5 million quilts and 5 million pillows, last month. The establishment of an integrated utility bedding business for the North American market is being facilitated by these consecutive acquisitions. Due to their distinct locations—one on the West Coast and the other in the Midwest—these purchases offer both current and potential clients an efficient distribution network.

“We are thrilled to have Modern Home Textiles in the ICIL Group,” said Mr. Anil Kumar Jain, Executive Chairman. This strategic purchase will greatly expand Indo Count’s capabilities and market reach in addition to accelerating the company’s goal of expanding the Utility Bedding category. In the utility bedding market, Modern Home Textiles offers creative, eco-friendly solutions that improve customer service and help us grow our US footprint. Our recent investments made in the USA demonstrate our dedication to expanding job opportunities and enhancing our reputation.

With these two acquisitions, the United States will have a total manufacturing capacity of 13 million pillows and an extra 1.5 million quilts every year. The entire anticipated revenue at full capacity is more than USD 85 million. There is a substantial predicted increase because the customer bases of Fluvitex and Modern Home Textile do not overlap. These expenditures by Indo Count Global, USA, are a component of a broader strategy to increase pillow manufacturing capacity significantly in order to serve utility bedding consumers.
