High Point, North Carolina — Capel Rugs has made its first showroom relocation in forty years, moving from Market Square to 200 N. Hamilton Street.
Almost 9,000 square feet make up the new showroom, which is more than twice as large as the company’s old one on Market Square’s first floor. The company can now display a far wider range of its varied lines, which include hand-knotted, indoor-outdoor, American original braids, and unique heirloom carpets, thanks to the new location.
“We’re really thrilled about the new opportunities that our new showroom offers, but we’ve had a long, successful run at Market Square,” said Cameron Capel, president of sales and marketing for Capel Rugs. The Hamilton Wrenn Design District, a well-liked hangout for top furniture retailers, home accent shops, and designers, is where our showroom is located. We anticipate attracting a large number of new customers to our showroom who may not have previously purchased from our line because several of the top furniture manufacturers in the country exhibit here.
Capel Rugs joined forces with Chelsea House, Wildwood, and Fairfield, their neighbors, last night.
Chair: for a “Cocktail Crawl,” where each business served a variety of hors d’oeuvres and a seasonal cocktail.
Designers could easily view the newest products from all four of our companies at the “Cocktail Crawl,” according to Capel.
The new Capel Rugs showroom at 200 N. Hamilton will also be available to the trade year-round, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“We believe that our customers will benefit greatly from this new showroom,” Capel stated. We’ll be able to display a lot more rugs thanks to the extra room. Each section of our range will be considerably easier to shop for thanks to separate rooms that are devoted to different forms of building. In order to give retailers and designers a greater idea of the variety of options we have, we will now have room to display other hues for our top sellers.
