Centric PLM Named Preferred Consumer Goods and Retail Solution by Dassault Systèmes
Centric Software® has announced that its parent company, Dassault Systèmes, has designated Centric PLM as its preferred Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for the Consumer Packaged Goods & Retail (CPGR) sector.
Centric Software develops AI-powered enterprise solutions that support product development from concept through commercialization across industries including fashion, luxury, footwear, outdoor, home, consumer electronics, food, beverage, cosmetics, personal care and multi-category retail.

According to the company, more than 2,900 customers across over 65 countries use Centric solutions to support product planning, design, development, sourcing, compliance, manufacturing, pricing, merchandising, retail operations and digital transformation.

Growth in Consumer Packaged Goods
Centric Software stated that its customer base in the Consumer Packaged Goods & Retail industry has grown by 120% over the past five years, adding approximately 100 customers globally.
The company said Centric PLM is designed to help businesses:
- Improve compliance with domestic and international regulations while strengthening traceability.
- Accelerate product development, reformulations and packaging updates.
- Improve visibility into raw material costs and supplier pricing to support margin management.
- Enhance collaboration between research and development, quality, packaging and procurement teams.
