Company to introduce third-party verified product carbon footprint data for over 100 interlining products manufactured in France
Chargeurs PCC, a manufacturer of interlinings and apparel components, is participating in Future Fabrics Expo 2026 in Brussels, where it is presenting its latest developments in technical interlinings and sustainability initiatives.
The company combines its manufacturing expertise with research and development to produce interlinings that provide shape, structure and support for garments across applications including luxury outerwear, technical sportswear and shirting.
Manufacturing Network and French Facility
Chargeurs PCC operates through eight industrial sites worldwide, supported by its historic French manufacturing facility, Lainière de Picardie, established in 1903 in Péronne, France.
According to the company, the fully integrated facility provides oversight of all processing stages and records lower CO₂ emissions per linear metre than international manufacturing averages by utilising France’s low-carbon energy grid.
Product Carbon Footprint Initiative
At the exhibition, Chargeurs PCC announced that from autumn 2026 it will introduce third-party verified Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data covering more than 100 products manufactured at its French facility.
The company stated that the initiative is intended to provide customers with product-level environmental impact data to support informed sourcing decisions.
Sustainability Targets
The Product Carbon Footprint programme aligns with the 2030 sustainability targets established by parent company Compagnie Chargeurs Invest, which include:
- A 42% reduction in CO₂ equivalent emissions across direct operations (Scope 1 & 2)
- A 25% reduction in CO₂ equivalent emissions across the supply chain and business travel (Scope 3)
- A 30% reduction in water withdrawal
- Engagement with more than 30% climate-committed suppliers
- Generating more than 32% of revenue from sustainable products
Responsible Textile Solutions
Chargeurs PCC is also presenting a range of textile solutions focused on reducing environmental impact.
Among the products on display is the Zero Water Dyeing collection, which uses solution-dyed yarns to reduce water and chemical consumption compared with conventional dyeing processes.
The company is also showcasing commercial interlining collections made from cotton, polyester, EcoVero™ and canvas, manufactured under resource-monitoring guidelines.
According to Chargeurs PCC, its approach combines technical performance with verified environmental data and controlled manufacturing processes to support transparency across the textile value chain.
