Circ®, a global innovator in textile-to-textile recycling, has announced the expansion of its Fiber Club initiative to accelerate the commercial adoption of recycled textiles. The second cohort brings together leading fashion brands Madewell (J.Crew Group), Reformation and C&A, along with strategic supply chain partners Lenzing and Linz Textil.

Launched in January 2025, Fiber Club was created to overcome long-standing challenges around minimum order quantities and pricing that have slowed the uptake of next-generation materials. By pooling demand across pulp, fibre and yarn stages, the initiative enables brands to move beyond pilot projects and commit to large-scale commercial production of circular materials.

As part of the programme, participating brands are developing collections using TENCEL™ | Circ® with REFIBRA™ technology, incorporating 30% Circ pulp derived from recycled poly-cotton textile waste. Circ supplies the recycled pulp, which Lenzing converts into lyocell fibres, while Linz Textil spins the fibres into yarn. Each brand works with its existing fabric and garment manufacturers, allowing seamless integration into current supply chains and expanding the network capable of producing circular textiles at scale.

The expanded Fiber Club comes at a time when regulatory pressures, sustainability commitments and changing consumer expectations are pushing brands to accelerate the shift towards circular business models. Emerging extended producer responsibility (EPR) policies in the US and Europe are reinforcing the need for brands to invest in textile recovery and recycling, making commercially viable recycled materials increasingly critical.

Circ said the next phase of its growth strategy focuses on reducing the commercial and operational barriers that have limited wider market adoption of textile-to-textile recycling. By operating within established manufacturing systems and aggregating demand across multiple brands, Fiber Club aims to make circular materials a practical and scalable option for the fashion industry.

Industry partners involved in the initiative highlighted the importance of pre-competitive collaboration to move circular textiles from small pilots to sustained commercial reality. With more brands and suppliers joining the platform, Fiber Club is positioned to play a key role in building resilient, scalable supply chains for recycled textile materials and advancing the fashion industry’s transition towards circularity.
